Facsimiles & Prints

Many years ago I began to transcribe renaissance music to modern notation, to make it available for people not being able to play from facsimiles. Mainly I tried to open sources for the summer courses, which every year were dedicated to a special theme.

The sources for the transcriptions are facsimile reprints.

A: Musica - Alamire, PB 45, B- 3570 Peer, Belgium (very good reprints, mostely part books in hard boxes).

B: Bernd Christoph Becker, Marzellenstraße 62, D - 50668 Koeln, Germany (the good quality photocopies of facsimiles are very inexpensive).

C: Torben Hove Jensen, Valdemarsgade 52, DK - 8000, Aarhus, Denmark (reprints in paperback)

D: Kristian Gerwig, Feldgartenstraße 24, D- Hennef 1 (good quality reprints, part books in hard case).
