| My wife, Jo, is a teacher of primary
school children (4 - 8 years of age), we feel that kites
offer a great deal of educational opportunity, which
might even be fun to deliver (and receive!). What we plan for this section of Kite Fantastic is a School Project focus with a range of resources/worksheets for both teachers and parents. Wherever possible we will relate the content to the National Curriculum with appropriate references to programmes of study and levels of attainment (nb. sorry folks but this bit is definately biased to the UK, although having said that, I am sure the work sheets and projects could be useful to all nationalities of children). Jo is on long vacation at the moment so bear with us whilst I persuade her to work during her holidays! (PS its now August 28th... no work!.. I've failed!) |
