Other Comments:

Maidensgrove Common is a stupendously big open grassy area owned by a local estate. There are a few rules like no powered models and keep your cars off the common proper but otherwise it's pretty much do as you want. It's only about 10 mins by car from Benson so it's ideal for our main flying site. It's also surprisingly under used by kite flyers. There are some buggyers up there fairly regularly, but during the week it's totally empty. Sometimes we meet London flyers who are escaping the city for the day.
