Comments:	Although 'fly-ins' are arranged for members, family and friends are more than welcome. A feature of these 'fly-ins' is the waiving of the Civil Aviation Authority 200ft height limit which applies to all kite activities in the UK. By special arrangement the BKF are permitted a height clearance of 1500ft on these occasions.

Festivals:	Festival organised and run by the club over a weekend in July. This free event is open to the public. The club is also present at other major kite festivals at places such as Weymouth International Beach Kite Festival - 3rd & 4th May, Bristol and Dieppe.
