Other Homepages

While you're here at kites.org you could visit some other Austrians:

How's about the Kite-O-Holix, the most successful Austrian team these days. They were awarded the Austrian Champions in October 1997.

Then there's the pair Just 4 Fun, also Austrian Champions 1997.

And finally we have the page of Gertraud Umlauft. She is individual Masters pilot, also Champion of her class in 1997 and was National Director of STACK Austria.

Aside from this smashing Austrian superiority :-) there are of course a lot of other interesting pages on this server. Just have a look on the Kites.Org mainpage.

I'd like to take this opportunity and thank James Ervin for setting up kites.org and offering me and many other kite- and internet-addicts the space to publish their pages here!

Kite Sites on other servers:

It has took a little while but on and on Austria is evolving to a kite-nation within the WWW. Latest example is "JJ's Kitepage" by Andy Tschany. Not only is he willing to represent the history of his own kite-desease, he also allows us deep insights into his medicine-bag.

Manfred Hofbauer's page leads you not only to his rats, but also to the "Parndorfer Drachenverein".

Rolf Lehnert has extended his study of biology with practical research on kites. He gives illustrated explanations of such important organs like bridles. As his most ambitious project he's on the way to discover the world's fastest kite.

For only one photo for his homepage Michael Stegherr even cleaned up his kite-cellar. His mother proclaimed that memorable day to a european-wide holiday.

On this japanese homepage you can see a few video-clips showing what our fellows in the land of the rising sun are doing with their Voodoos

In 1997 my long-time e-mail pen-pal Paul May from Nürnberg/Germany and two members of the broken team "Surf The Clouds" founded the new team "Cloud 9". 1998 was their first competition season. Check their site to see how they were doing!

And if the above ain't enough you can always start a world wide web journey by entering Andrew Beattie's kite-links page.
