The International Rule Book Committee
(IRBC)
The International Rulebook Committee [I.R.B.C] is the worldwide body that is developing a consistent framework for Sport Kite.
There are three major bodies that manage Sport
Kite competitions around the world, the American Kitefliers Association, the All
Japan Sport Kite Association and Sport Team and Competitive Kiting [a worldwide
body]. Until recently, each of these organisations employed their own set of
rules for Sport Kite competitions, based loosely on a rulebook issued by the AKA
in the mid 1990s. |
