Flexifoil stuff

This is where it tells you how to maintain your  Flexifoils whether it's a Hotshot or Super 10. We tell you how to fly it and how to get the best performance.

            Launching Flexifoils

There are two ways to launch a flexifoil, on your own or with some one else. The first way is to lay the kite on the ground and let it inflate, then roll the spar in front of the gauze so no more air can get in. Now grab you lines and walk back slowly and kite should take right off the ground, if not just give it a slight tug when walking backwards. Now the second way is the easiest, just get some one to grip the spar of the kite and hold it over there head, then grab your lines and tell them to release there grip it and it should take off right out of there hand.

            Landing  Flexifoils

This is really easy to do, just fly the flexi to the edge of the wind and it should just sink to the ground, but the only problem with that is it'll be upside down. There is a way to land it right side-up, when it's sinking to the ground pull on the line that would normally bring it back into the wind and it should land ready for another takeoff.

                Flexifoil Tips

  • Always tape your spars together because they do tend to come out of place when flying, the best tape is the white vinyl tape, it sticks to the spar good.

  • Always place the lines between the two rubber stoppers on the spar, because if you don't the sleeving on your line crumple up and make the loop too small to attach to the spar properly.

  • Never grip the actual lines of the kite when it's ready to fly, because it might takeoff at any moment, and the line will cut trough your hand with the friction and can be painful, if you have to wear protective gloves.
