All ye experts out there look away this isn't for you this is the basic stuff for people just starting off and don't have a clue on how to get it in the air or fly it for about two minutes or less..... before crashing.

                Launching

Place the kite the on it's wingtips with the belly of it facing into a clean wind( Wind that isn't blocked by structures, trees and hills), lines taut, kite leaning slightly backwards, simultaneously pull back and down on the lines and take a step back, this will cause the kite to rise into the air. If you crash the kite and the kites nose is pointing at you while the kite is flat on it's belly the kite is dead and cant be relaunched without you going to set it up again. But, with some kites they can launch from a dead position meaning you don't have to do the walk of shame to your kite. If it crashes in any other way or position  then it is possible to launch again, Just make sure your in the middle of the wind!!

                  Turning

There are two types of turns a push turn and a pull turn, I'll start first by explaining a pull turn.
                            Pull Turn
A pull turn is a basic turn pull on the left the kite goes left, pull on the right the kite goes right. But if  you keeping pulling left or right the kite does a loop and to get out of one, bring the lines together and the kite will fly straight again.
                            Push Turn
A push turn is a more sharper, precise, angular turn. It goes like this you push right the kite goes left, you push left the kite goes right. But if you keep pushing, the kite will go into a spin which is is much faster than a loop and  the same as the above bring your hands together to bail out.
Note: When doing spins or loops the lines will cross, don't worry about it the kite will still react the same as before except if you spin or loop too many times the response might be weaker on one of the lines, so do it in the opposite direction to uncross the lines.

                  Landing

Landing is easier than it sounds. A basic landing is like a controlled crash while the other is a bit more advanced.

Basic Landing: Fly the kite to the left or right edge of the wind until the kite begins to slow down, as it comes out of the wind it will slowly float to the ground for a perfect landing.

Advanced Landing: Fly the kite to the left or right edge of the wind close enough to the ground. When the kite begins to slow, steer so that the nose is pointing up and then slowly walk towards the kite until the wingtips touch down, now it's ready for another takeoff.
